Evening Remembrance: Dua for Protection and Gratitude

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to recite this Dua when he entered the evening, acknowledging Allah's control over all aspects of life and death, and seeking His protection.

اللَّهُمَّبِكَأَمْسَيْنَا،وَبِكَنَحْيَا،وَبِكَنَمُوتُ،وَإِلَيْكَالنُّشُورُ.

Translation (MUHSIN KHAN)

"O Allah, by You we have entered the evening, and by You we live, and by You we die, and to You is the resurrection."
