يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ
Dua for General Use: May Allah bestow His Mercy on you.

Dua for General Use: I seek Your forgiveness.
Dua Before Starting a Meal
بِسْمِ اللهِ
Dua for General Use: In the Name of Allah.
Dua upon Sneezing
الحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ
Dua for General Use: All praise is due to Allah.
Dua After Completing Wudu (Ablution)
دُعَاءُ الْوُضُوءِ
Dua for General Use: I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, Who has no partner; and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger. O Allah, make me among those who repent and make me among those who purify themselves.
Dua for Leaving Home
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
Dua for General Use: In the Name of Allah, I have placed my trust in Allah, and there is no might or power except with Allah.
Dua before entering the toilet
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ
Dua for General Use: In the Name of Allah. O Allah! I seek refuge with You from all evil and evil-doers (male and female jinn).
Dua after Waking Up
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
Dua for General Use: All praise is due to Allah, Who has given us life after He has caused us to die (sleep), and unto Him is the resurrection.
Dua for Entering the Mosque
دُعَاءُ دُخُولِ الْمَسْجِدِ
Dua for General Use: In the Name of Allah, and blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, open for me the gates of Your Mercy.
Evening Remembrance: Dua for Protection and Gratitude
اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا
Dua for General Use: O Allah, by You we have entered the evening, and by You we live, and by You we die, and to You is the resurrection.
Dua for Starting Ablution (Wudu)
بِسْمِ اللهِ
Dua for General Use: In the Name of Allah.
Dua for Riding a Vehicle
دُعَاءُ الرُّكُوبِ
Dua for General Use: Glorified be He Who has subjected this to us, and we could never have it (by our efforts). And verily, to Our Lord, we are returning!
Dua Before Lying Down to Sleep
بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا
Dua for General Use: In Your Name, O Allah, I die and I live.
Dua for Wearing Clothes
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي كَسَانِي هَذَا الثَّوْبَ
Dua for General Use: All praise is due to Allah Who clothed me with this garment and provided it for me, without any might or power from me.
Dua for Entering the Home
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَلَجْنَا
Dua for General Use: In the Name of Allah we enter, and in the Name of Allah we leave, and upon our Lord we rely.
Dua for Leaving the Mosque
دُعَاءُ الْخُرُوجِ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ
Dua for General Use: In the Name of Allah, and blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, I ask You from Your bounty. O Allah, protect me from the accursed Satan.
Dua After Finishing a Meal
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنِي هَذَا
Dua for General Use: All praise is due to Allah Who fed me this [food] and provided it for me without any strength or power on my part.
