Hani is too young too fast

Hāni cannot fast yet, but helping his family at ifṭār for Allah shows him how Ramadan can still feel special.

    Hāni was excited for Ramadan.

Every day, he watched his older sister fast from Fajr to Maghrib.

Looking up at Mama, he asked,

“Mama, can I fast the whole day too?”

Mama knelt close and smiled gently.

“Not yet, Hāni. You’re still young. Waiting can be hard, isn’t it?”

    Hāni nodded.

He wanted to be part of what they were doing too.

Seeing Hāni’s face, Baba came and sat beside him.

“You don’t have to wait to please Allah,” he said warmly.

“The Prophet ﷺ taught us that Allah loves small deeds, especially when we keep doing them.”

    Hāni looked up.

    “Even tiny ones?”

    Smiling, Baba said,

    “Even tiny ones.”

    Hāni felt hopeful.

“So I can help in Ramadan too?”

    Baba smiled.

“Yes, Hāni. And Mama has something to show you.”

    Hāni looks up toward Baba.

The room feels calm and reassuring, soft colors, no faces, no exaggerated expressions.

Warm indoor lighting, family atmosphere, simple background.

A warm, cozy living room at sunset.
A young boy (Hāni, about 4–5 years old, faceless) sits on the floor looking toward an older sister seated near a low table set for ifṭār.
Mama kneels beside Hāni at his eye level in a gentle, caring posture.
Soft golden evening light, calm Ramadan atmosphere, no facial features, modest clothing, child-friendly proportions.
